TOILE DU MARAIS is a FSC™ classified bookbinding fabric from the Winter & Company family of cover fabrics. This cover linen and woven textile structure gives your book a warm and pleasant touch and gives your product a natural look. This bookbinding cloth is available from stock in many fashionable and vibrant colours, all of which are characterised by a very high colour consistency. Unusual in the field of textile bookbinding fabrics is the opaque white and the very "deep" black.
Due to its robustness and strength, TOILE DU MARAIS is perfectly suited for bookbinding or as cover fabric for stationery articles. Thanks to the durability and longevity of this cloth, it ideal for book covers or even for high-quality packaging. The use of this bookcloth allows a nice finishing by blind or foil stamping. This book cloth is also very suitable for digital, offset or screen printing.
TOILE DU MARAIS consists of a dyed-through viscose fabric laminated onto acid-free paper. Both the natural fabric and the backing paper are FSC™ certified and carry the FSC™ mix label. This book cover cloth has clear cut edges to make the maximum usable width of 137cm. The high quality of dyes used in this textile ensures a very high colour stability.
